Correction: New Scientist podcast

** The New Scientist Podcast is produced in the US. The publication has an international home page and the podcast is advertised on this, so I presume the content is intended for a global English-language audience **

Stuart Bruce posts that New Scientist is podcasting. I've signed up immediately.

Expect to see more flagship titles from UK publishers to follow suit soon, it's an obvious way to add value for readers, promote your title/content to a wider audience and extend the brand.

RSSApplied.com carries an interesting post too with a few more details and discusses the fact that it is a nine week pilot and will be ad-funded.

What print media would you like to see launch a podcast next? Here's my top five:

1. Stuff
2.  The Economist
3. Management Today
4. New Media Age
5. Private Eye
