Silent Star Wars

It's been a hard day, so the three or four serious posts I've had in the pipeline are going to stay there for a day or so more. Meantime this really cheered me up and - ahem, so we're just on topic still - demonstrated once more the boundless creativity of people generally and that the movie mash-up is alive and well...

I'm really not surprised that it works so well. George Lucas has said many times that the old silent movies were part of his inspiration for the movies. It shows up even more strongly in the prequels.

Imagine this treatment of Vader's birth, or Anakin's nightmares for example...

Yep imagining... and wishing I had a spare weekend to play with video editing software.
