See your blog flower...

Loving, as I do, finding different ways to see the stories hidden in data, I am utterly enchanted by the "topic flower" approach to summarising the topics in a piece of text.

Above's a picture of the topics on the front page of Open at the moment. Technology themes are represented by the turquoise, economy by the purple and recreation by the orangey brown edging. I think the may be some hints of blue (science) in there too.

You can draw topic flowers of your own and other people's copy on Neoformix. Remember to give it a minute to finish drawing.

The blog recently published a collection of some well known US blogs too which is worth a quick look.

Thanks to the blooming marvellous Data_Mining for the link to this blog.
