News of the first YouTube promotion with a commercial partner I've heard of comes from Steve Rubel this morning.
Panasonic is running a month long "Online Video Fest" with the video sharing service.
Site looks a bit cheap and cheerful and the competition is only open to US citizens, so my take is that it is a low cost experiment by the local team. Full marks for getting in there and having a go though.
I'll try to keep an eye on how well it goes, even though I'm not eligible to try out for the top prizes of digital cameras and plasma TVs.
